A series of multi-day fully accommodated guided trips around the stunning Wet Tropics World Heritage area covering many elevations (coast to mountain top) & habitats (wet to dry) & staying in petite accommodation well suited for wildlife viewing.
This region offers unprecedented opportunities to spot wildlife in its' natural environment - spectacular flora, fauna & scenery abound. With elevations from around 400-1000m the cooler climate & the rich soils of the Tablelands provide for a great diversity of wildlife. This little series of Guided tours is designed to give the flexibility for each guest group to decide on the flavour of the theme for the day - from serious target species spotting to simply enjoying spectacular scenic drives/walks. Night spotting included if desired.
Most of Australia's wildlife is nocturnal & the lushness & varied habitats of the wet tropics draws a huge percentage of Australia's birds. For Birders our Guides are well experienced at both filling the score card & target species spotting for even the most elusive.
